Pomwik is an independent apps studio. This page explains what happens to the email address you give us when you join an app waitlist on this site.

What we collect

When you join a waitlist we store your email address, which app you signed up for, and the date and time you signed up. We don't ask for anything else, and we don't store your IP address with your signup.

Why we collect it

Only to email you about the app you chose: one welcome email confirming you joined, and one email when it's ready to try. We also get a notification of each signup so we can see how much interest there is. We won't use your address for other apps you didn't sign up for, and we will never sell or share it for advertising.

Legal basis

Your consent. By pressing "Join the waitlist" you agree to receive emails about that app. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Where it's stored

Signups are stored in a database at Cloudflare, which acts as our service provider. We use Cloudflare (for email routing) and Resend (to send our emails) as service providers. This website itself is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) of visitors. The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove it, or until 24 months after you sign up if the app hasn't launched by then, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your data, or to stop emailing you, at any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email hello@pomwik.com from the address you signed up with and we'll act on it. If you're in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Our waitlists are for adults. Please don't sign up if you're under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above.
